Description Sinofranchetia is a genus of woody vines belonging to the family Lardizabalaceae, native to Asia. The genus was named in honor of Adrien René Franchet, a French botanist who collected specimens in China. There are currently only two species recognized within this genus: Sinofranchetia chinensis and Sinofranchetia hubeiensis.
