Osmadenia

Description Osmadenia is a rare flowering plant that belongs to the family Melastomataceae. This genus contains only two species, namely Osmadenia tenella and Osmadenia veraguensis. The former is native to Costa Rica and Panama, while the latter is found only in Panama. Both species are epiphytes, which means they grow on other plants instead of in soil.
