Description Lamyropsis is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, native to the Andes Mountains in South America. The genus contains only two known species, Lamyropsis microcephala and Lamyropsis senecionides. These plants are commonly found growing in the high-altitude grasslands and rocky slopes of the Andes.
