Description Glechoma is a genus of aromatic plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae. The genus comprises two species: Glechoma hederacea and Glechoma hirsuta. The former is commonly known as ground ivy, gill-over-the-ground, creeping charlie, or run-away-robin. The latter is also known as hirsute ground ivy.
