Description
Greeneocharis is a genus of flowering plants in the family Melastomataceae. The genus was named after Edward Lee Greene, an American botanist. There are currently only two known species in this genus, Greeneocharis punctata and Greeneocharis darwinioides. These plants are native to the rainforests of South America.
