Description
Gaudichaudia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Malvaceae. This genus was named in honor of Charles Gaudichaud-Beaupré, a French botanist who explored many parts of the world in the 19th century. There are currently only two known species of Gaudichaudia: G. australis and G. diversifolia, both of which are native to South America.
