Description
Pseuduvaria is a genus of flowering plants that belongs to the Annonaceae family. It was first described by Bân in 2001 and currently contains around 30 species that are found in Southeast Asia. The name “Pseuduvaria” is derived from the Latin word “pseudo” meaning false and the genus name “Uvaria”, in reference to its similarity to the Uvaria genus.The plants in this genus are mainly trees or shrubs, with some species growing up to 25 meters tall.
